The Iconic Three Stripe logo was trademarked by the founder Adolf "Adi" Dassler on August 8, 1949.

Rudolf Dassler is the founder of PUMA, which was officially registered on October 1, 1948.

See anything in Common? Maybe Dassler? Why Yes, the two founders of PUMA and Adidas are two brothers. Before they separated they both were owners of "Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik" in 1924.
